Revealing the batting frailties, Team India crashed to humiliating innings and six runs defeat against South Africa in their First Test at Nagpur. Its the first defeat in its format under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
The significant knock in the Indian innings was Sachin Tendulkar's 46th Test Ton which merely delayed South African victory. Early in the first innings, it was Virendra Sehwag who did the contribution with a century knock. But both tons were in vain before the mammoth total of 558 highlighted by Hashim Amlas's double century (253*).
